Graduations are one of the most exciting moments in a student's life at university. To most, this is a memorable time in their life, one to share with family and friends.

 

Our 1st Graduation ceremony takes place on Friday 3rd September 2010 at 3pm. The venue is Playhouse, Queensland Performing Arts Centre Southbank.   If you are eligible to graduate, please ensure you apply to do so. If you need help or do not understand any aspect, please go to Level 9 and ask our staff.

Please note the following:

• The Graduation is a JCU Graduation and the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of JCU will be in attendance.

 

• All students eligible to graduate must complete the Graduation Form and forward this to the contact details listed on the form. Applications close on Monday 9 August 2010. Please note that late applications may not be accepted.

 

• Each student graduating must wear the correct gown, hood and hat. These can be ordered by visiting Level 9. The cost for each student is AUD$60 payable in cash when you book your gown. Gown hire closes on Thursday 26 August 2010.

 

• You are able to invite family, and friends to your graduation as this is a special day for each graduating student and their family and friends. Click here for your invitation.

 

• The ceremony starts at 3pm but graduating students must be at the venue at 1pm to collect their gown and be seated in the Playhouse theatre.

 

• After the ceremony, light refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity to have photographs taken with your family and friends by the official photographer.

 

• A very important note: If you have previously graduated and have had your testamur (graduation certificate) delivered to you in the mail, you can still take part in our graduation. Please check with our staff on Level 9.
